Overview of the Asylum page

The Asylum, also known as the Boardroom, is where you can stake GSHARE or ZSHARE tokens to capture tokens printed via Seigniorage. Staked GSHARE will receive Grave as a reward, while ZSHARE will receive Zombie as a reward. Rewards are printed on a 6 hour timer (epoch)

Share tokens are locked for 36 hours upon deposit. Claiming rewards resets this timer. Rewards are ONLY received when the associated peg token is above TWAP 1.01

Here is an example of how the Asylum works.

1. Johnny deposits 100 Gshare into the Asylum

2. The 6 hour epoch timer rolls over to the next, and the price of Grave is 1.1 TWAP. This means the price of Grave is 10% ABOVE it's target of 0.1 Avax.

3. The Asylum mints and allocates Grave tokens based on current Grave supply, and weight of staked Gshares in the Asylum. Example: There is 10,000 total Gshare deposited into the asylum. Johnny's 100 gshare represents 1% of this total. Grave's supply before this epoch is 100,000 and the current Supply tier is 0, which means the supply will increase by 1.5%, or 1500 grave.

4. Since johnny represents 1% of the staked Gshare, Johnny will receive 15 Grave (1% of the print) as a reward for his staked Gshare.

5. Johnny can now claim those 15 grave and do as he pleases with it. Johnny can also leave his Gshare staked to receive more Grave in the future, as grave TWAP allows.
